Branch Convention Summary

Setup: Laravel Project

# Create project (already has git initialized)
composer create-project laravel/laravel my-project
cd my-project

# First commit (if needed)
git add .
git commit -m "Initial commit"

# Connect to GitHub
git remote add origin git@github.com:username/my-project.git
git push -u origin main

Setup: Laravel Package

# Create directory
mkdir my-package && cd my-package

# Initialize git with main branch
git init

# Create structure
mkdir -p src config tests

# Create initial files
touch composer.json README.md LICENSE .gitignore

# First commit
git add .
git commit -m "Initial commit - Laravel package structure"

# Connect to GitHub

Setup: Filament Plugin

# Create directory
mkdir my-filament-plugin && cd my-filament-plugin

# Initialize git with 1.x branch (NOT main!)
git init
git checkout -b 1.x

# Create structure
mkdir -p src/{Actions,Forms/Components,Tables/Columns,Pages,Resources,Widgets}
mkdir -p config resources/{css,js,lang,views} tests

# Create initial files

Creating New Version Branch (Filament Plugin)
