Data You Submit

When creating consultation jobs, you submit security questions and scenario descriptions to Cybercentry for analysis. Never include sensitive data in your submissions.

What to REMOVE Before Submission

Strip these from your queries:

• API keys, tokens, and credentials
• Internal system details or architecture specifics
• Production URLs, IP addresses, or internal endpoints
• Personal Identifiable Information (PII)
• Proprietary security configurations
• Actual vulnerability details from your systems
• Any production secrets or passwords

What to INCLUDE

Safe query information:

• General security concepts and best practices questions
• Hypothetical scenarios (without real system details)
• Industry standard compliance questions
• Threat intelligence research queries
• Generic architecture security patterns

Example: Sanitized Query

# ✓ SAFE - General security question
CONSULTATION_QUERY='{
  "question": "What are best practices for securing API gateways?",
  "context": "cloud-based microservices architecture"
}'

# ✗ UNSAFE - Contains sensitive details
CONSULTATION_QUERY='{
  "question": "Our API at api.mycompany.com uses key sk-abc123...",
  "context": "database at db.internal.net:5432"
}'

• Consultation responses and recommendations
• Job timestamps and payment records

What data is NOT collected (if you sanitize properly):

• API keys, tokens, or credentials
