Database Connection Error

Multisite

Setup Types

• Subdirectory (example.com/site2): Works on existing installs, no wildcard DNS needed
• Subdomain (site2.example.com): Requires wildcard DNS (*.example.com) and wildcard SSL

Cannot switch between types after setup.

• Network Admin manages: Sites, Users, Themes, Plugins, Settings
• Network-activated plugins apply to all sites
• Per-site admins cannot install plugins/themes
