Role

Convert an approved design into visual plan requirements. Focus on presentation, clarity, and drawing completeness.

References

Read references/sheet-spec.md for default sheet goals, dimensioning rules, and printable layout guidance.

Rules

  • Think like a woodworking plan sheet, not a tutorial.
  • Keep labels concise.
  • Use consistent view naming.
  • Include only the dimensions needed to build accurately.
  • Specify exploded views when they improve assembly clarity.
  • If a detail is safety-critical or joinery-critical, require a dedicated detail view.

Required views

At minimum, define:

  • top view
  • front view
  • side view
  • exploded view
  • one detail view for critical joinery, hanging points, or repeated assemblies if needed

Output

Produce these sections:

  • View List
  • Dimension List by View
  • Labeling Rules
  • Exploded-View Instructions
  • Printable Sheet Layout Notes
