Commands
Get posts from subreddit
reddit-cli posts <subreddit> [limit] [sort]
- limit: number of posts (default: 10)
- sort: hot, new, top, rising (default: hot)
Get full post content
reddit-cli post <url-or-id>
- Supports full URLs:
https://reddit.com/r/subreddit/comments/POSTID/... - Supports post IDs:
1rvaymh - Supports permalinks:
/r/subreddit/comments/POSTID/...
Returns the complete post including title, author, score, and full selftext content.
Search Reddit
reddit-cli search <query> [--sub <subreddit>] [limit]

Environment
Set these in ~/.bashrc:

- Go to reddit.com (logged in)
- DevTools (F12) → Application → Cookies → reddit.com
- Copy

- Cookies expire, you may need to refresh them periodically
