Common Questions

Match user requests to endpoints in references/api-spec.lap. Key patterns:

"Create a query?" -> POST /subscriptions/{subscriptionId}/resourcegroups/{resourceGroupName}/providers/Microsoft.Insights/components/{applicationName}/query
"Search query?" -> GET /subscriptions/{subscriptionId}/resourcegroups/{resourceGroupName}/providers/Microsoft.Insights/components/{applicationName}/query
"Create a metadata?" -> POST /subscriptions/{subscriptionId}/resourcegroups/{resourceGroupName}/providers/Microsoft.Insights/components/{applicationName}/metadata
"List all metadata?" -> GET /subscriptions/{subscriptionId}/resourcegroups/{resourceGroupName}/providers/Microsoft.Insights/components/{applicationName}/metadata
"Get metric details?" -> GET /subscriptions/{subscriptionId}/resourcegroups/{resourceGroupName}/providers/Microsoft.Insights/components/{applicationName}/metrics/{metricId}
"List all metadata?" -> GET /subscriptions/{subscriptionId}/resourcegroups/{resourceGroupName}/providers/Microsoft.Insights/components/{applicationName}/metrics/metadata
"Get event details?" -> GET /subscriptions/{subscriptionId}/resourcegroups/{resourceGroupName}/providers/Microsoft.Insights/components/{applicationName}/events/{eventType}
"Get event details?" -> GET /subscriptions/{subscriptionId}/resourcegroups/{resourceGroupName}/providers/Microsoft.Insights/components/{applicationName}/events/{eventType}/{eventId}
"List all $metadata?" -> GET /subscriptions/{subscriptionId}/resourcegroups/{resourceGroupName}/providers/Microsoft.Insights/components/{applicationName}/events/$metadata
"How to authenticate?" -> See Auth section

Response Tips

Check response schemas in references/api-spec.lap for field details
Create/update endpoints typically return the created/updated object
