Why 123RF Downloader
123RF hosts millions of stock photos, vectors, editorial images, and video clips. After you purchase or license an asset, actually downloading it still means clicking through modals, selecting sizes, and confirming formats — often one file at a time. If you need to pull multiple assets from a search page or your download history, it becomes repetitive.
123RF Downloader is being built to sit inside the browser and simplify that last step. Browse or search on 123RF, and the extension will detect licensed assets on the page so you can save them directly without the extra clicks.
Planned Features
- Detect licensed stock photos, vectors, and clips on 123RF pages
- One-click download for individual assets from search results or detail pages
- Batch selection for downloading multiple assets from a single page
- Original resolution and format preservation for photos and vectors
- Video clip export in the highest available quality
- Download history tracking so you can see what you have already saved
- Metadata tagging with title, contributor, and license type where available
- Cross-browser support targeting Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Firefox
How It Will Work
- Install the extension once it is released.
- Sign in to your 123RF account in the browser.
- Browse or search for assets as you normally would.
- The extension detects licensed assets visible on the page.
- Click the download button on individual assets or select multiple.
- Choose your preferred resolution or format when options are available.
- Files save directly to your local Downloads folder.
Expected Formats
- Photos: JPEG at original upload resolution
- Vectors: EPS or AI source files where available, plus JPEG preview
- Video clips: MP4 in the highest licensed resolution
Downloaded files will match the formats 123RF delivers for your license tier, preserved without re-encoding or quality loss.
Who It's For
- Graphic designers pulling licensed assets into active projects
- Marketing teams building content libraries from stock purchases
- Web developers sourcing images and vectors for client sites
- Video editors collecting B-roll clips from stock footage libraries
- Anyone who buys stock assets and wants a faster download workflow
Use Cases We're Building For
- Download a batch of stock photos from a search results page after licensing
- Pull vectors and illustrations directly into your project folder
- Save video clips without navigating away from the browse view
- Re-download previously purchased assets from your account history
- Build a local archive of all your 123RF licensed assets
Security & Scope
- Operates only on the page the user intentionally opens in the active browser tab
- Detects supported playback sources only for user-initiated downloads or exports
- Does not execute page instructions, shell commands, or arbitrary scripts from page content
- Does not follow unrelated links or perform actions outside the active workflow
- Limits support to the named platform, approved embedded contexts, and user-authorized sessions when required
