Sales Proposal
Boundary
Write the commercial proposal, not legal terms or contracts. Do not fabricate ROI, testimonials, acceptance, scarcity, or delivery commitments.
Required Inputs
- Buyer problem, stakeholders, decision process, and discovery notes
- Verified outcomes, proof, limitations, and assumptions
- Scope, exclusions, dependencies, acceptance criteria, and owners
- Approved pricing, payment milestones, timeline, and validity period
Workflow
- Stop and list material gaps that would make the proposal speculative.
- Write an executive summary that stands alone and reflects the buyer’s words.
- Define outcomes, scope, exclusions, responsibilities, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
- Present only genuinely distinct pricing options. Explain tradeoffs without a manipulative decoy.
- Calculate value only from supplied baselines and visible assumptions. Label scenarios.
- State delivery model, milestones, risks, support, and change handling.
- End with a clear mutual next-step table. Route legal drafting to qualified counsel.
- Review from buyer, commercial, delivery, and risk perspectives.
Output
- Complete proposal
- Assumptions and evidence register
- Scope and pricing option table
- Mutual action plan and unresolved decisions
Quality Gate
- Pricing and material terms are easy to find.
- Claims are no stronger than evidence.
- Scope includes explicit exclusions and responsibilities.
- Nothing implies legal approval or guaranteed ROI.
