Tree Manipulation

Modify phylogenetic tree structure: rooting, pruning, ladderizing, and subtree extraction.

Rooting Trees

Root with Outgroup

# Root with single taxon

Root at Midpoint

Check Rooting Status

Ladderizing

Sort clades for consistent visual presentation.

Pruning Trees

Remove Specific Taxa

Collapsing Clades

Collapse branches below a threshold.

Extracting Subtrees

Get Clade as Subtree
