tools-core (/packages/tools-core)
Central utility package providing helpers for npm, logging, process management, and Meteor configuration. This is the foundation for modern tool integrations.

Host-App Dependency Module (lib/deps.js)
Use ensurePackageDependencies() when an Atmosphere package requires npm
dependencies in the host application. It detects missing or below-minimum
versions, installs them when meteor.autoInstallDeps is enabled, and otherwise
prints copyable npm or Yarn commands.

Call the engine unconditionally; do not pre-check
hasMeteorAppConfigAutoInstallDeps(). The engine owns auto/manual mode and
once-per-process deduplication. Lower-level exports include
detectMissingOrOutdatedDeps(), formatInstallCommands(), and the render
helpers. See packages/tools-core/README.md and

METEOR_LOCAL_DIR can add a local-directory suffix to the base context names;
the test-mode suffix is a separate isolation axis. Preserve both so concurrent
meteor run, meteor test, and meteor test --full-app processes do not watch,
clean, or overwrite one another's artifacts.

TypeScript Compiler (/packages/typescript)
Compiler plugin for TypeScript/TSX file compilation.

Features:
- Transpiles TypeScript before Babel processing
- Supports client/server/legacy browser targets
- Integrates with React Fast Refresh for HMR
Limitations:
- Per-file transpilation (no cross-file type analysis)
- No tsconfig.json support (Meteor manages settings)
- No type checking during compilation
- No .d.ts generation
