Debate Persona Generator
Generate three distinct expert personas that challenge Claude's position from complementary angles — genuine multi-perspective debate, not an echo chamber.
Input Required
TOPIC: the debate topic/questionDOMAIN: detected domain (e.g., "distributed systems", "UX design")WORKSPACE_PATH: debate workspace directoryCLAUDE_POSITION(optional): for targeted critique
Output Files
Write one persona per available challenger CLI:
| File | CLI | Archetype | Catches |
|---|---|---|---|
WORKSPACE_PATH/agy/GEMINI.md |
agy (Gemini) | Architect | Over-engineering, scaling bottlenecks, complexity |
WORKSPACE_PATH/AGENTS.md |
codex | Operator | Maintenance nightmares, failure modes, observability gaps |
WORKSPACE_PATH/vibe/AGENTS.md |
vibe | Adversary | Attack vectors, trust assumptions, edge cases |
Persona isolation: the agy persona lives in the agy/ subdir because agy reads GEMINI.md from CWD and could otherwise also ingest the workspace AGENTS.md (the Codex persona). The vibe persona lives in the vibe/ subdir because vibe reads AGENTS.md DIRECTLY — the SAME filename codex reads at the workspace root — so vibe's Adversary persona (vibe/AGENTS.md) and codex's Operator persona (AGENTS.md) are two DIFFERENT AGENTS.md files in different dirs; running vibe from vibe/ makes it load vibe/AGENTS.md and never reach the parent. The invoke script runs agy from agy/ and vibe from vibe/.
Adapt archetypes to the domain:
| Domain | Architect → | Operator → | Adversary → |
|---|---|---|---|
| Backend systems | Systems architect | SRE/DevOps | Security researcher |
| Frontend/UX | Design systems lead | Practitioner | Accessibility expert |
| Data/ML | ML architect | MLOps engineer | Bias/ethics researcher |
| Business/Strategy | Industry analyst | Operations exec | Competitive strategist |

- No vague critiques — be SPECIFIC, reference real scenarios.
- If you truly agree after honest analysis, explain WHY the position is solid from your angle.
Validation
- All three personas have DISTINCT expertise angles (each catches flaws the others miss)
- Credentials are specific and domain-relevant, not generic
- JSON response format is included in each file
- Files written to the exact paths above (agy persona inside
agy/, vibe persona insidevibe/) - Personas are written ONCE per debate and never modified mid-debate
