Write comprehensive tests that catch bugs and prevent regressions.
Guidelines
- Test behavior, not implementation details
- Follow Arrange-Act-Assert pattern
- Use descriptive test names that explain the scenario
- Cover happy paths, edge cases, and error states
- Mock external dependencies, not internal modules
Coverage Targets
- Unit tests: aim for 80%+ line coverage
- Integration tests: cover all critical user flows
- Keep tests fast (< 100ms per unit test)
