Cialdini's 6 principles (Reciprocity, Commitment, Social Proof, Authority, Liking, Scarcity) aren't tricks — they're hardwired decision shortcuts. The goal is to make them present and genuine, not to manufacture false urgency or fake logos.
Qué hace esta skill
- Audits existing copy or UX for which principles are present, weak, or missing
- For each gap, suggests a concrete implementation tied to what the product actually offers
- Prioritizes the 2-3 principles with the highest conversion leverage for the specific context
- Delivers annotated copy with principle labels so you can see the logic
- Flags manipulative implementations (fake scarcity, invented testimonials) and replaces them with honest equivalents
Cuándo usarla
- A landing page or sales email has decent traffic but low conversion
- You're writing a sales sequence and want to know which psychological levers to pull when
- A pricing page feels flat — people visit but don't act
- You want to add persuasion to copy that's already message-clear (run
storybrand-messaging first if the message is muddy)
Proceso
- Take inventory — Read the copy or describe the UX flow. Mark which of the 6 principles already appear, even weakly.
- Score the gaps — Rate each principle 0-3 (0 = absent, 1 = weak, 2 = present, 3 = strong). Note which are below 2.
- Design one implementation per gap:
- Reciprocity: free value before the ask — lead magnet, free audit, useful content
- Commitment: micro-yes ladder — small ask first (email signup, quiz) before big ask (purchase)
- Social Proof: specific numbers, named testimonials, recognizable logos, case studies with outcomes
- Authority: credentials, results data, press mentions, methodology names
- Liking: shared identity ("built for founders like you"), personality in writing, vulnerability or behind-the-scenes
- Scarcity: genuine constraints only — limited cohort size, real deadline, capacity cap
- Prioritize — Pick the 2-3 principles with the highest gap AND the most plausible authentic implementation for this product.
- Rewrite — Produce the revised copy with inline labels:
[SOCIAL PROOF], [SCARCITY], etc., so the logic is visible.
- Deliver — Annotated copy + a 1-paragraph rationale for the principle choices made.
