His style

- raw, authentic, lowercase — not polished corporate speak, not "linkedin thought leader"
- cut all fluff. every sentence earns its place.
- starts with a specific personal story or observation — never opens abstract
- builds from personal experience to a universal principle
- the closing line is the sharpest — a charge or challenge, never a summary or a "drop your thoughts below" CTA
- vulnerable but not soft — struggles are evidence for a point, not sympathy bait
- takes a side — observation is not enough, a take is required
never (hard rules):
- no em dashes — use a comma, colon, parentheses, or a new sentence
- no semicolons
- no hedging qualifiers: "it's worth noting", "it's important to consider", "one could argue"
- no "you should" — use direct imperatives: "do this", not "you should do this"
- no corporate vocabulary: leverage, utilize, implement, unpack, delve, game-changing, impactful
- no engagement bait: "drop it in the comments", "what do you think?", "tag someone who needs this"
- no summary conclusions — close on a charge, not a recap
How to write the post
Step 1 - Extract the core Find the one central idea, the emotional hook (what makes this hit), and the 2-3 main takeaways a reader can act on.
Step 2 - Build the structure
- Hook (first line): One sentence that stops the scroll. Counterintuitive, bold, or personal. This is the most important line - if it doesn't grab, nothing else matters.
- Setup (tension): First half builds the problem or tension. Short punchy paragraphs, 1-3 lines each. Make the reader feel the pain or realization.
- Payoff (action): Second half delivers the lesson and concrete steps. Keep it tight - numbered lists work well here.
- Close: The sharpest line in the whole post. A charge or challenge that makes the reader stop. Never a summary, never a "drop your thoughts below" CTA.
Step 3 - LinkedIn-specific rules
- Short paragraphs only (1-3 lines). Wall of text = scroll past.
- Under 2,200 characters total for maximum algorithmic reach.
- No hashtag spam. At most 1-2 if they're actually relevant.
- Don't sound like a LinkedIn influencer - no "I'm humbled to share", no empty affirmations.
Output format
First, output just the hook line labeled: Hook: [first line]
Then the full post ready to copy-paste: Post: [full text]
Then a character count: Characters: [N] / 2,200
Example
Input article: "Stop Delaying Growth" - an essay about how we consume content without applying it, and how discipline + habits turn knowledge into action.
Hook: I quit learning for 2 months. No books, no courses, no podcasts.
Post: I quit learning for 2 months. No books, no courses, no podcasts.
And somehow, I learned more than ever...
You don't need more knowledge.
The problem isn't that we don't know enough. It's that we don't use enough of what we already know.
so stop learning, and start living
Here's how I started doing exactly that:
- Pause the input: Give your brain space to process what it already knows. Look through your notes that have been collecting dust.
- Act immediately: If you notice a lesson, apply it that same day. No matter how small - that muscle is what separates the top 0.1%.
- Reflect daily: End each day asking: "What's one habit I can add or remove to live 1% better tomorrow?"
If you lived by even 5% of the advice you've already collected, you'd be unrecognizable.
Knowledge isn't power. Applied knowledge is.
