Purpose: Build high-converting the brand landing pages using the TIPS framework. Applies to: Any sales, lead gen, or product page for or client projects. Last updated: 2026-04-08
The TIPS Framework
TIPS is a Dutch conversion framework for landing pages, derived from AIDA. Every section of a landing page maps to one of four phases. The goal is to move a visitor from "I don't care" → "take my money."
T = TEMPT (Verleid)
Goal: Hook the visitor. Stop the scroll. Confirm they're in the right place.
What it covers:
- Hero headline (emotionele belofte)
- Hero subheadline (pijn bevestigen)
- Pijnpunten / "je kent dit gevoel"
- Trust badges (snel, betaalbaar, al werkend)
- Above-the-fold CTA of social proof
Copy rules:
- Spreek pijnpunten aan op een manier die herkenning oproept
- Geen features → benefits / gaten → oplossingen
- Emotie boven logica in de hook
- Lead with the outcome, not the process
Common mistakes:
- Te snel "how it works" in plaats van pijn wegnemen
- Te algemene headlines ("Build Amazing Products")
- De CTA te snel tonen zonder eerst te verleiden

I = INFLUENCE (Beïnvloed)
Goal: Build trust and authority. Make the visitor feel understood.
What it covers:
- Storytelling (over jouw bedrijf of aanpak)
- Social proof (testimonials met metrics)
- Statistics bar (harde cijfers)
- Logos van klanten/tools
- "Al live en werkend" indicators
Copy rules:
- Testimonials moeten specifiek zijn over het resultaat, niet de feature
- "Conjunction fallacy" → testimonial bevestigt precies het aspect dat je verkoopt
- Statistieken met eenheden: "200+ uren bespaard", niet "200+ klanten"
- Autoriteit opbouwen door herkenning te creëren ("You know this feeling")
Brand design: Light sections (#F6FEFC bg) create contrast with the dark hero. Stats in gold (#DFB771).
P = PERSUADE (Overtuig)
Goal: Remove objections. Make the visitor want the product.
What it covers:
- Feature benefits (maar alleen de gaten, niet de tech)
- "What your AI handles" outcome cards
- Pain without solution (benoem wat ze mislopen als ze NIET kopen)
- Pricing tiers (3 opties: free/managed/custom)
- Guarantee, trial, or risk-reversal
Copy rules:
- Consumenten kopen geen boren → ze kopen gaten
- Bullet points over concrete eindresultaten, niet features
- Prijzen tonen in relatieve waarde ("minder dan 1 uur freelancer") not just absolute
- Urgency/schaarste als dat authentiek is
Pricing structure (the brand):
- DIY/Free: €0 — PDF guide only
- Instant Appie: €250/mo — managed server + AI
- Custom: vanaf €2,500 — full agency build
S = SELL (Verkoop)
Goal: Close the deal. Make it impossible to delay.
What it covers:
- Primary CTA (prominent, duidelijk)
- Secondary CTA (voor de twijfelaars)
- FAQ (bezwaren wegnemen)
- Urgency element (tijdelijke korting, live guide)
- Sticky footer CTA of floating button
Copy rules:
- CTA copy moet actiegericht zijn: "Start nu" / "Get je Appie" — niet "Learn more"
- FAQ is voor bezwaren, niet voor features
- Sluit af waar je bent begonnen (emotionele cirkel rond)
- Laatste regel: exactly what they click to get started

The 3 V's of Verleiding
- Vooruitzicht — het positieve toekomstbeeld (wat krijgen ze als ze doorsolliciteren)
- Volgzaamheid — consistentie / sociale bewijzen (iedereen doet dit al)
- Verliesaversie — angst om te verliezen (wat mislopen ze als ze weggaan)
Use all three sparingly. Too much = manipulatively. Right amount = compelling.
Common Mistakes
- T te snel overslaan →直接 naar features zonder pijn te erkennen
- I te droog → stats zonder verhaal, testimonials zonder metrics
- P te technisch → bullet points over features in plaats van gaten
- S te zacht → "Learn more" CTAs, geen urgency, geen duidelijke prijs
Workflow for Building a TIPS Landing Page
- Discover: Wat is de steady-state vs target-state emotie van de doelgroep?
- Tempt: Schrijf 3 pijn-recognitie headlines, kies de sterkste
- Influence: Verzamel 3 testimonials met metrics + 4 stats
- Persuade: Schrijf bullet points als gaten (niet als features)
- Sell: Bepaal de prijsstructuur, urgency element, FAQ objections
- Build: Zet sections in volgorde TIPS + TIPS
- Validate: Check of elke TIPS fase compleet is voordat je next section start
