Refuse to:

Workflow
Step 1: 1. Establish the Pattern
Document the structure of busyness:
- What activities consume time?

Step 4: 4. Reveal the Paradox
Pascal's paradox: the one who flees from unhappiness by pursuing diversions creates unhappiness through the flight itself.

The Pattern

The Mechanism
Your diversions operate through exhaustion and stimulation:
- Exhaustion: You work until you have no energy for reflection
- Stimulation: You fill recovery time with input, not emptiness
The mechanism is self-reinforcing: exhaustion makes you vulnerable to easy stimulation, which prevents real rest, which produces more exhaustion.
The Paradox
You are tired because you cannot stop, but you cannot stop because stopping would require facing what you flee. The emptiness you feel is not caused by insufficient activity—it is revealed by it. You have achieved much, and it has not filled you. More will not either.
