Begin with moments. The anxiety will diminish as you experience that the world does not collapse when you cease.

The Email: Others will not observe your Sabbath. Set an auto-response for your Sabbath hours: "I am unavailable until [time]. I will respond when I return." Most things can wait 4 hours. The ones that cannot will find another path.

The Catch-Up: Weekends consumed by chores is not rest—it is different work. For Sabbath practice:

• Do chores during the week when possible

The palace must have walls. Not everything can enter.

The 60-Hour Week: This practice does not fix the structural problem of overwork. That requires different intervention (boundaries with employer, job change, systemic advocacy). But even within the 60 hours, sanctified time is possible. And the practice may give you the ground to address the larger pattern.
