• Identity: You want to believe you chose a good partner who respects you

Evidence

• Pattern repeats despite dozens of conversations (words are cheap, actions reveal truth)
• Promises are made but no change happens (they know what you want, they choose not to deliver)
• You keep having the "conversation" instead of setting boundaries with consequences
• Other areas where they want something, they find time and energy to do it
• You're exhausted from managing this, they're unaffected (the cost falls on you, not them)
