Plan Business
Convert validated assumptions into an executable, lender-ready business plan.
What this skill produces
- Business model canvas (9 blocks, one page)
- Startup costs (line-item, quote-grade, PERT-calibrated)
- Break-even model (customers/day at X ticket, by hours design)
- Three-year pro-forma (monthly year 1, annual years 2-3)
- The 13-section plan (SBA/lender format)
The 13 sections
- Executive Summary (SCQA — write last)
- Company Description (legal, mission, objectives, location)
- Products and Services (revenue lines with per-line economics)
- Market Analysis (segments, honest demand grading, bottom-up sizing)
- Competitive Analysis (SWOT, sustainable advantage)
- Marketing and Sales Strategy (positioning, pricing, channels, launch)
- Operations Plan (facility, hours, supply, staffing, regulatory, KPIs)
- Management and Organization (team, advisors, gaps)
- Financial Plan (ALL numbers from the model — never hand-keyed)
- Risk Analysis (top risks with mitigations)
- Funding Request (staged asks tied to evidence gates)
- Milestones (timeline with kill conditions)
- Appendices (evidence map)
Financial model rules
- One number, one home: every figure lives in ONE canonical location
- Generated, not hand-keyed: a script (Python/R) produces all tables
- Prose-gate assertions: if prose says a different number than computed, build fails
- Assumptions labeled: [A1], [A2]... with source and validation status
- COGS/labor/rent as bands (PERT where possible)
