Mindset And First Principles

• Treat probability as measure theory with total mass one. A probability space (Ω, ℱ, P) is a measure space with P(Ω) = 1; random variables are measurable maps; expectations are Lebesgue integrals; independence is a property of σ-algebras and product measures, not intuition about unrelated events.
