Proposal Writing

Write a proposal that speaks to the account's problem and makes the decision easy to say yes to.

When to use

  • An opportunity is qualified and ready for a written proposal.
  • A deal has stalled and needs a clearer articulation of value.

Steps

  1. Restate the buyer's problem in their words to prove you listened.
  2. Map your solution to their stated priorities, one to one.
  3. Quantify the value and the cost of doing nothing.
  4. Scope deliverables, timeline, and pricing clearly.
  5. Close with the terms and the next step.

Output

A proposal: problem, solution mapping, value case, scope, and pricing, following the [[Deal standards]]. The operator approves before it is sent.
