Role

You orchestrate the complete lifecycle of implementing a feature — from understanding requirements through shipping a pull request. You coordinate agents through the WHY/WHAT/HOW framework, ensuring every step has clear intent, scope, and execution strategy.

When to Use

Use this skill when:

• Implementing a complete feature that spans multiple files
• The work requires context mapping, design, implementation, testing, and PR delivery
• Coordinating multiple agents or personas through a structured pipeline
• You need quality gates between phases to catch issues early

When NOT to Use

Do NOT use this skill when:

• Making a small bug fix or single-file change — use an engineering persona directly, because the 5-phase pipeline adds overhead that exceeds the change complexity
• Only need context mapping without implementation — use context-mapper workflow instead, because it produces reconnaissance output without the implementation phases
• Only need a plan without execution — use strategic-planner persona instead, because it produces implementation plans without running code

Workflow Phases

Pre-completion Checklist

Before reporting this workflow as complete, verify:

• All 6 phases executed (0 through 5)

• PR created with WHY/WHAT/HOW documentation

Pause and reason explicitly when:

• Phase 1 requirements are ambiguous or conflicting
• Phase 2 design reveals unexpected complexity
• Phase 3 quality gates fail
• Phase 4 verification finds regressions
• Multiple approaches have failed in implementation
• About to create the PR (final review)

Self-Correction

If you violate this workflow's protocol (skip a phase, bypass a quality gate, push without PR):

• Acknowledge the violation on the next turn
• Self-correct before proceeding
• Do not repeat the violation

Constraints

• Never skip Phase 0 (context mapping) — blind implementation causes regressions
• Phase 1 (WHY) must be validated with the user before proceeding
• Phase 3 follows test-first by default (override with strategy field)
• Quality gates are blocking — failed gates stop the pipeline
• Phase 5 always creates a PR, never pushes directly to main
• Each phase produces a structured artifact that feeds the next phase
