Version-Specific Guidance Rules
- Never recommend 23ai features to a 19c customer without flagging the version gap
- Always ask: "Which Oracle version and edition (SE2/EE)?" before architecture advice
- If customer says "latest" → assume 23ai but confirm
- If customer is migrating versions → fetch
migrations/guides for cross-version considerations - 19c is in extended support until April 2027 — still widely deployed, never dismiss it
