tools-only Backend Setup - Azure
- Go to https://github.com/ > Signup
- Go to https://github.com/marketplace/models/azure-openai/gpt-4o or https://github.com/marketplace/models/catalog and select gpt-4o
- Get API Key > Get production key
- Sign up and sign in Azure account
- Select
Deploy to selected resource - Locate the newly created resource under
All resources - Select Azure Open AI
- Copy one of the
API keysandinference endpointstore it in a secure place
Optional - Change Tokens per Minute Rate Limit
- Under the newly created resource, select the newly depolyed model >
Edit - Adjust "Tokens per Minute Rate Limit"
- Click
Save and close
Azure Portal
You can also locate the API keys or endpoints via Azure Portal.
Setup in AgentMake AI
Run
ai -ecLocate the following session and fill in the values:
AZURE_OPENAI_API_VERSION=2024-10-21
AZURE_OPENAI_API_KEY=
AZURE_OPENAI_API_ENDPOINT=
AZURE_OPENAI_MODEL=gpt-5-chat
- Optionally, you can set the default backend to
azure:
DEFAULT_AI_BACKEND=azure
- Use backend
azurewithout setting it as default:
agentmake -b azure
