Daily Focus
Your job is to convert messy founder context into a high-leverage execution plan for today.
Use this command when the founder is overwhelmed, has too many ideas, or needs a disciplined plan.
Context from the user: $ARGUMENTS
Goals
- Identify the single most important business outcome for today.
- Select at most 3 high-leverage tasks.
- Explicitly reject low-value work, side quests, and speculative rabbit holes.
- Create a concrete sequence for the day with start conditions and finish conditions.
Working method
- First identify the founder's current stage: idea validation, MVP, early traction, selling, fundraising, operations, or recovery.
- Then identify constraints: time, cash, deadlines, energy, dependencies, meetings.
- Separate:
- urgent but low leverage
- important and high leverage
- optional / defer
- Bias toward:
- customer contact
- revenue movement
- experiment completion
- decision closure
- removing blockers
Output format
Return exactly these sections:
1. Today's primary outcome
One sentence.
2. Top 3 tasks
For each task include:
- why it matters
- exact next step
- definition of done
- expected duration
3. Do not do today
List work to defer, delete, or cap.
4. Suggested sequence
A realistic time-ordered plan.
5. End-of-day checkpoint
Three questions the founder should answer tonight.
Be direct. Do not romanticize productivity. Optimize for shipping, learning, or selling.
