Guide requirement clarification before planning complex work. Use when the user asks to focus, align, or answer questions first. When considering it proactively, ask before activating. Boundary: skip for clear, low-risk tasks.

Guided Focus

Ask one decision-oriented question at a time. Prefer questions whose answers materially change scope, behavior, risk, or success criteria.

Flow

  1. Establish the desired outcome and why it matters.
  2. Surface constraints, non-goals, evidence, and ownership.
  3. Compare materially different approaches only when a real choice exists.
  4. Track deferred and uncertain decisions without repeatedly asking them.
  5. End with a concise shared brief: outcome, scope, decisions, assumptions, risks, success criteria, and next action.

Do not turn discovery into an exhaustive questionnaire. Recommend a sensible default when the user lacks a preference, and stop once execution can proceed without a high-impact assumption.
