Use this skill when the user wants to publish or semi-publish a Xiaohongshu post with the local tooling in this repository.
Scope
- Default to ordinary image-text notes.
- Do not assume long-article mode is ready unless the user explicitly asks and the repo has been updated for it.
- Default to manual confirmation. Do not auto-publish unless the user explicitly requests it.
Workflow
- Gather the note title, body, and image paths.
- If the user asks for optimization, rewrite the copy first and keep the tone aligned with the user’s existing Xiaohongshu style.
- Build or update a payload JSON under
payloads/. - Run:
python codex_xhs.py draft --payload payloads/example_note.json
- Leave the browser open for manual review when appropriate.
Guardrails
- Ordinary note mode requires images. If images are missing, stop and ask for them or generate covers first.
- Keep login state local. Never commit
.codex-xhs-data, cookies, or private payloads. - If the user wants a public repository artifact, use
payloads/example_note.jsonas the shareable example and keep personal phone numbers out of committed files.

Login once:
