Phase 1: Scope Definition

Don't test the cloud; test the configuration.

• S3/Blob Storage: Public buckets? Authenticated users can read any bucket?
• IAM/Entra ID: Over-privileged keys? AdministratorAccess?
• Metadata Service: Can EC2 read http://169.254.169.254? (SSRF -> Credential Theft)
• Serverless: Privilege escalation via Lambda roles?

🧩 API Business Logic Flaws

Scanners miss these. You must find them.

• BOLA/IDOR: User A changes User B's ID in URL (/users/123/orders).
• Mass Assignment: POST /register with {"role": "admin"}. Does it work?
• Rate Limiting: Trivial DoS? Brute force OTP?
• Improper Assets: /api/v1 is secured. Is /api/v0 still running?
