Create a review on a pull request

Purpose

This skill provides access to the MCP tool create_pull_request_review. It allows you to create a review on a pull request.

Parameters

The tool accepts the following parameters:

owner

Required

• Type: string
• Description: Repository owner (username or organization)

repo

Required

• Type: string
• Description: Repository name

pull_number

Required

• Type: number
• Description: Pull request number

commit_id

Optional

• Type: string
• Description: The SHA of the commit that needs a review

body

Required

• Type: string
• Description: The body text of the review

event

Required

• Type: string
• Description: The review action to perform
• Allowed values: APPROVE, REQUEST_CHANGES, COMMENT

comments

Optional

• Type: array
• Description: Comments to post as part of the review (specify either position or line, not both)

Usage Instructions

To use this tool:

1. Prepare the parameters according to the schema above
2. Invoke the MCP tool create_pull_request_review with the prepared parameters
3. Process the result returned by the tool
