What to Extract
- Central claim — the one sentence the whole argument is trying to establish. Quote it if stated; reconstruct it in one sentence if implicit (and mark it reconstructed).
- Claim type — empirical / normative / definitional / predictive / causal. This determines what would even count as evidence, so the attacker skills know what to demand.
- Explicit premises — the stated support, each as a quoted clause.
- Implicit premises — unstated things that must be true for the inference to work. Flag each as inferred, not quoted.
- Inference structure — how the premises are meant to yield the conclusion: deductive / inductive / abductive / analogical.
- Evidence offered — data, citations, examples, or "none".
