Brand Voice
Treat voice as a governed system, not generic positivity.
- Locate approved sources and distinguish confirmed rules from inference. Record source coverage and confidence.
- Define audience, positioning, voice constants, context-specific tone flexes, vocabulary, formatting, claims boundaries, and forbidden language.
- Write a practical “we are / we are not” contrast and a context matrix for key surfaces such as product UI, support, sales, executive, and social.
- Apply rules to an artifact, then validate specificity, clarity, accessibility, factual claims, and consistency with the source of truth.
- Keep open questions visible; ask the brand owner to confirm or override them.
Do not silently fabricate a brand personality, override approved guidelines, or infer claims that the organization cannot substantiate.
