Core APIs (Wrapper)

From @zoom/meetingsdk-react-native wrapper surface:

• initSDK(config)
• isInitialized()
• updateMeetingSetting(config)
• joinMeeting(config)
• startMeeting(config)
• muteMyVideo(mute)
• muteMyAudio(mute)
• connectMyAudio(on)
• cleanup()

Critical Notes

• Latest npm wrapper verified on 2026-07-10: @zoom/meetingsdk-react-native@7.0.5.
• You still need native iOS/Android Meeting SDK dependencies configured.
• In 7.0.5, joinMeeting and startMeeting resolve MobileRTCMeetError string values rather than the older numeric return type.
• New 7.0.5 events include auth return, meeting error, join confirmation, meeting state change, and auth identity expiration notifications.
• For host start flow, pass zoomAccessToken (ZAK).
• Keep JWT generation on backend, never embed SDK secret in app.
• Current docs note React Native support up to 0.75.4; Expo is not supported.
