Clarify First
Before the analysis, confirm these inputs. If any is unknown or vague, ASK — do not assume:
- Which side you are on — provider vs client — the
--perspectiveinput that flips position classification and your target positions - Deal value + complexity parameters — drive the deal tier (1-5), expected timeline, and number of rounds
- Your bright lines / non-negotiables — define what cannot be conceded vs what can be traded in the concession roadmap
- Applicable regulations — GDPR, DORA, NIS2, SOX — determine which regulatory-leverage arguments are genuine vs would destroy credibility
Stop rule: ask only the 2-3 that most change the output. If the user says "just draft it," proceed and list your assumptions at the top of the analysis.
